Is there a particular flavor of regex EPADD expects?

0 votes

Hi -

I'm trying to create a regular expression for the presetqueries.txt file. Using regex testers, I have a working expression, but when I paste it into the text file and re-compute stats, it doesn't flag the pattern I expected it to.

For reference, here's my regex:
\$?\d{1,3}K?.{1,9}salary

which should flag the phrase "$20K of his salary" as well as "100K of salary" but does not.

any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Farrell,

Custom regular expression search is unfortunately not working correctly in v1.1. The issue has been sorted in the most recent developer version, and the fix will be included in the next public release.

At least I'm not crazy.

Is there a planned release date for the public release?

The next major release is currently scheduled for June 2016. For a list of what's on the agenda for this release, see https://github.com/ePADD/epadd/milestones/Release%201

However, we're considering releasing an update before then containing mainly bug fixes, as well as a few enhancements TBD. If we go that direction we'll announce the release in the usual places -- forums, mailing lists, website, Twitter, etc.

Thanks,

Josh
