issues with opening epadd

I've noticed a few times now that if I open epadd and then close the browser and try to open epadd again, it won't respond. I have to restart the machine. Is this a known issue? Ideas on why this might happen?

I'm using Windows 7. Java 8.

Hi Jessica, thanks for your question. You should never need to reboot your workstation. Opening a new window or quitting ePADD should be managed by interacting with the ePADD icon in your Windows Taskbar (or OSX Finder Toolbar on Mac). If you have tried these steps and are still having an issue, please let us know.

I have the same problem, and that's my only solution. I also have to reboot whenever ePADD encounters an error -- which is frequently. Windows 8.1, Firefox 40.0, Java 8. 8GB of memory.

ePADD is a software package developed by Stanford University's Special Collections & University Archives that supports archival processes around the appraisal, ingest, processing, discovery, and delivery of email archives.
