How to change the default directory from user home directory to another location?

In ePADD User Guide 3.0 pg 8 is the correct file or I tried changing to add the epadd.base.dir=d:\ePADD then restarted ePADD. I am trying to move the appraisal, discovery, delivery and processing directories to d:\ePADD instead of c:\users\userid\epadd-xxx. I moved the directories to d:\ePADD, updated the to include epadd.base.dir=d:\ePADD. When I start ePADD from command line java -Xmx12g -jar epadd-standalone.jar it defaults the appraisal directory back to c:\users\userid\epadd-appraisal. The epadd.log file confirms it is looking for c:\users\userid\epadd-appraisal. Any suggestions for getting the modules on to the d: drive where there is more space?

The correct file should be and it should be put in your home directory. Sorry for the trouble. We will update the manual asap.

Still not working.

I'm also getting trouble getting this to work. Has anyone manged it successfully?

Upgrade to 3.1 and still not able to get this to work successfully.

Correction... I got this to work in version 3.1. I had to create the file in the c:\users\userid folder, not in the c:\users\userid\epadd-settings folder. Noticed the change of directory in the user guide from 3.0 to 3.1.

ePADD is a software package developed by Stanford University's Special Collections & University Archives that supports archival processes around the appraisal, ingest, processing, discovery, and delivery of email archives.
