Error after address book

I'm loading a large mbox file made by Aid4mail--it appears to load all the messages, but keeps crashing at the point of indexing the address book. If I try to load folders individually for a while, it works, but eventually crashes...

Please provide more info:

  1. how large is the mbox file?
  2. how much ram you have in your machine?
  3. what version of epadd are you using?

In this particular case, it was malformed mbox created from Aid4mail from psts with extra single quotes added to the sender field. I fixed it by lookin for >, ' < or ā€œ, '\r\nā€ in the mbox text file.

I really don't know much about aid4mail. yet to use it.
I deal with my mails using mail Backup X. It is yet to show me any crash in these 5 months.
