ePADD will only start if the computer has just restarted

When I try to start ePADD, nothing happens unless I restart the computer first. The same thing happened on a different computer.

You must fully quit ePADD in order to restart the application, by closing it from the icon in the task bar (Windows) or top menu bar (OSX).

Thank you so much for the quick reply! It looks like there might just be a problem with the shortcut I created on the desktop.

ePADD is a software package developed by Stanford University's Special Collections & University Archives that supports archival processes around the appraisal, ingest, processing, discovery, and delivery of email archives.
